1Q10 ASSEMBLY OFFICERS' MEETING Church of the Holy Nativity, Plano March 13, 2010 On Saturday, March 13, 2010, the Quarterly Meeting of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew Chapter Directors of the Dallas Diocese of the was held at the Church of the Holy Nativity in Plano. Chapters from across the Diocese were represented. Discussion of our 1st Quarterly Meeting, held in January, was positive. We continue to hold up the vision of a discipling ministry, and we believe the meetings are building a community of faith for the Brothers. Our 2nd Quarterly Meeting will be a back to basics meeting. Fred will contact a person to talk about prayer, Robby will contact a person for study, and Fr. Don will contact a person for service. Jim and Don Candy will prepare Epiphany to host the meeting. We will all meet within the next few weeks to discuss. Jim Vineyard explained officers assignments for the golf tournament scheduled for June 8th, and passed out brochures. We all thanked Jim for all he's done in organizing the event. Larry Maxwell has come up with a win/win proposition for the habitat build. The Brotherhood will team up with Incarnation for a house. We all agreed to it and commended Larry for getting it all worked out. We had an update on Chapters in the Dallas Assembly. Robby will get with Don Candy to discuss churches to visit. Bruce has added all meeting dates to BStA calendar, and wants to include blurbs on each Chapter, as to what's happening around the diocese, such as meeting times, study, service, etc. The annual meeting was discussed and we agreed that December 4th date will work. Larry will check to see if we can hold our meeting at Incarnation. Robby will check to see if the bishops will be available. All officers were commended for their hard work and commitment to the Brotherhood. Blessings,
