The Dallas Assembly of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew held its Annual Assembly of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew Meeting on Saturday, December 9, 2006. The meeting was hosted by St. Luke's in Dallas, with the Chapter there providing breakfast. The formal program began with a Eucharist celebrated by Canon Paul Lambert and assisted by Rev. Josh Acton, Brotherhood Chaplain. It was followed by breakfast and fellowship. Opening remarks and introductions were provided by Pike Burkhart, Assembly President. Canon Lambert provided an update on ECUSA and the Anglican Communion. This was followed by a presentation by Ron Warfuel, National President, on helping men grow spiritually. The Assembly Report was provided by Pike Burkhart, Assembly President. An overview of the Assembly's new website was provided by Bruce Blais. Larry Maxwell provided an update on the Assembly's participation in the Habitat project and introduced the family receiving this year's home. The BStA Golf Tournament benefiting Habitat was presented by Don Candy. the Rev. Bill Irons described the All Saint's Camp Spring Cleanup planned for March 10th. Tom Bower, Assembly Treasurer, provided the Treasurer's Report The meeting was closed by Fr. Josh Acton, and the participants adjourned to the Habitat house for the dedication.
